Students from Kendal College's 14-16 programmes celebrated their success this evening at a special awards ceremony to recognise their achievements. |
Kendal College's 14-16 programmes enable students from local schools to attend college and gain vocational qualifications and develop specialist skills in areas such as sport, automobile engineering, childcare, hairdressing and beauty therapy, performing arts, sport and hospitality.
Principal Graham Wilkinson said: "over 300 14-16 year olds from local schools attend Kendal College courses, with over half of them progressing to full time and apprenticeship courses at Kendal College when they leave school at 16."
