First Diploma Art Students showcase first project
29 October 2009
Students on the BTEC First Diploma in Art and Design showcased the first project of their course today.
Art and Design lecturer and film specialist, Dan Hodge said: "This project was designed to give students an introduction into the many disciplines within the world of animation: from time-honoured two dimensional cell animation techniques, to contemporary three-dimensional computer animation, using Mac animation software.
"All of the students have thoroughly enjoyed the opening term of the First Diploma course, and have really bonded well together as a group. Even though students have only been working on this project for five weeks, their commitment, creativity and teamwork is really shining through already."
