How to find us

Kendal College consists of two sites in Kendal, which is situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park.

Both sites are within walking distance of Kendal bus and train stations.

Kendal College also Manages Kendal Museum, on Station Road, as part of an agreement with South Lakeland District Council.

Car parking is restricted in the College, particularly during term time.  Additional street parking may be available on Vicarage Drive or alternatively at the Kendal Leisure Centre which is approximately a five-minute walk from the College. Other parking is available at the Kendal Parish Church, which is a four-minute walk from the College.

By road from M6 Motorway
From Exit 36 follow signs to Kendal A590/A591, approx. 9 miles, take exit signed Kendal Historic Market Town, Kendal South and A6. Entering Kendal, continue in left hand lane at first traffic lights, passing the College main site to your left and immediately turn left into Vicarage Drive. Turn first left onto the College campus and first left again towards the visitors’ car park.

By Train
The nearest mainline station is Oxenholme the Lake District. Kendal Station is situated in the North of the town: Both are 5 minutes by taxi to the College.
