Exams Officer - Salary £18,849- £20,604 pro rata

We are seeking a proactive individual to manage the exams provision in College including the provision of relevant reports to Senior Management. The post requirement is full time (37 hours per week) but applications from those interested in a job share arrangement will be considered.

The Hospitality Department at Kendal College is Ofsted Grade 1 and has outstanding new facilities. The School itself is diverse and encompasses Tourism & Sport, Construction and Engineering. The College is seeking to appoint an experienced individual from a Hospitality background to enable it to maintain its Ofsted status within Hospitality and to drive and support the attainment of Grade 1 in the other areas of the School.

Construction Staff
Are you an Assessor, Trainer or Verifier and have a background in delivering work based training to the construction and related industries? Kendal College would like to hear from you with a view to expanding our provision to deliver a range of subjects including Health & Safety. Safe use of Specialist Plant and Machinery, NVQs, Working in Confined Spaces, Site Managers Safety Training Scheme, NEBOSH and the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme.

Commercial Training Specialist/Consultants

As part of the College’s community service and growth strategy we are increasing our commercial training provision. To facilitate the growing demand we seek training specialists/consultants, particularly in the areas of:

Information Technology
Health and Social Care
Hospitality and Catering
Business
Management

We are also interested to hear from training specialists in other areas that believe there is a commercial opportunity for training in their specialism.

Applicants details will be stored on our commercial trainers database for a period of 12 months. Applicants will be contacted on a ‘needs’ basis to delivery one day training events, short courses or consultancy. Delivery could be at any of our College sites at Kendal or at external venues within the South Lakes or Eden Valley area.
