The Lakes Hotel School at Kendal College, consistently judged Grade 1 Outstanding by Ofsted, delivers first-class training for the industry and its students. The department has an excellent reputation locally, nationally and internationally; and has trained many of the top professionals who are now working in some of the best hotels and restaurants in the area.

The Hotel School's kitchens and the college restaurant offer outstanding food preparation, service, training and qualifications. Students have the opportunity to be selected as part of the college's culinary team and develop their skills further by working on functions and representing the School overseas.
