Entry 1 to Level 1

Foundation Learning is a new and exciting programme at Kendal College which can be designed to meet your needs and interests. You will have an advice and guidance session, which may also include a trade test, and which will help you to pick and mix your own programme at level 1 which might include:

• Business Administration
• Caring for Children
• Engineering
• Construction
• Hair and Beauty
• Hospitality
• IT
• Performing Arts
• Creative Art

• help you gain confidence such as personal and social relationships, managing your money and healthy living
• help you in looking for a job such as interview skills, safety in the workplace and working in a team
• help you with parenting such as keeping children safe, healthy eating for children and communicating with children

Or if you are not sure what you want to do you might you might choose the Level 1 Diploma/Certificate which can allow you to try more than one area of work.
