Childhood Studies and Teacher Education

Childhood Studies

Working with children can be one of the most rewarding of all careers, with a huge variety of jobs from working in exotic holiday destinations, to the challenge of working with teenagers who have specific needs.

The College's department of Childhood Studies and Teacher Education, judged Grade 1 by Ofsted, enjoys an excellent reputation and maintains strong links with local nurseries, schools and children's centres in the area. Many of our past students have started at level 2 and have continued to degree level at Kendal College.

Whether you want to work in an early-years setting, or develop your career to full teacher-qualified status, Kendal College can provide you with the foundation for a great career and a great future, working with children.
