Business and accounting is a vast sector, with positions available in nearly all types of organisation. Jobs in business and accounting include management, professional and clerical/secretarial jobs.
Our programmes at Kendal College can provide you with the skills to work in a busy office environment, with accounting programmes that allow you to progress to higher level qualifications and ultimately become a chartered accountant and business programmes that enable you to pursue careers in management, supervision, personnel and marketing.

Our team of business and accounting lecturers has a wealth of industry experience and are up to date with current business, management, marketing and accounting practice. Our business programmes at Kendal College can allow you to progress through to our Foundation Degree and top up to gain a full honours degree in business and management. Many of our students combine degree-level study with a full-time job, enabling them to progress their careers and their qualifications at the same time.
Similarly, our accounting apprenticeships allow you to achieve nationally recognised accounting qualifications and gain valuable work experience, with the opportunity to progress and become a chartered accountant.

* Denotes a YPLA funded course and is free to 16-18 year olds. Over 19s may qualify for free tuition when in receipt of JSA or ESA benefits (excludes part time art, design & media, Indian head, Swedish massage and spa treatment courses).
** You will not have to pay tuition fees if this is your first full level 2 programme (5 A*-C GCSE or equivalent) .
*** You will not have to pay any tuition fees if this is your first full level 3 programme (2 A levels) and are aged 19-25 or if over 25 and do not already have a full Level 2 qualification.
**** You will not have to pay any tuition fees if you do not already have a full Level 2 qualification or above and are intending to progress to a full Level 2 qualification.
*Reg fee refers to any registration, examination, assessment or any other fee related to awarding body.
This fee must be paid at the time of enrolment.
