Apprenticeships and work-based training
Our team of assessors are out on the road in Cumbria all year round, deliveing training and assessment in the 24 different industry sectors in which we offer apprenticeships. Apprenticeships can provide training to your new or existing employees. Apprentices will either spend one day per week at college and the rest of the time at work or, in some cases we can offer on site training and assessment

Kendal College is part of the National Apprenticeship Matching Service. If you have a vacancy for an Apprentice, please contact us and we can arrange for your vacancy to be advertised nationally at no cost to you. Short courses and training
Whether you or your staff need the right qualifications to enable you to meet your legal obligations, or training in English, maths, IT or customer care skills to improve their effectiveness, talk to us about how we can support you. We can deliver short courses on our main site on Milnthorpe Road, at the Arts and Media campus or in your workplace

JobWorks

Talk to us about JobWorks, our range of training programmes, designed to help existing employees improve their skills and knowledge and equip new employees with the right skills to do the job. We run regular job fairs and can provide support for those who are at risk of or have been made redundant, as well as training and support packages to help people back into work.
