- Call Student Services on 01539 814700 for information.
- 18:00 - 21:00
This is a FREE course and you will gain a Level 1 Award in Cycle Mechanics (Maintaining your Mountain Bike).
This qualification will give you an introduction to cycle mechanics and a sound understanding in how to carry out some basic repairs. It’s relevant if you just want to maintain your own bike better or if you want to take that first step to becoming a professional cycle mechanic.
We have received a lot of interest about this course, and as such, are looking to move the course to an alternative location to enable more people to benefit. The course start date is TBC whilst we investigate possibilities. Please enquire and/or enrol for this course, and we will be in touch as soon as we have more details.
The mountain bike and road bike course are the same qualification: Level 1 Award in Cycle Mechanics. We are unable to source funding for more than one course of the same qualification per student, and as such there may be a fee, if you would like to complete both courses.
Training for apprentices is free for all ages. However, if you hold a full Level 4 qualification (or higher) you will not be eligible for apprenticeship funding. Alternative funding options may be available. Please call 01539 814713 or email email@example.com for information.
Please note: If you are an adult student you may be entitled to financial support to cover the cost of your course, dependent on your circumstances. Please contact Student Services on firstname.lastname@example.org for details. Fees will be confirmed in the Spring Term. More about Student Finance.
