A selection of activities you can expect to be completed during your training includes: talking and reassuring patients, feeding patients, X rays and assisting with bathing and dressing patients. You can on occassion expect to be involved in observing ward rounds and non-invasive clinical procedures.

The course is 2 years in duration and you will gain an Extended Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 3. Equivalent to 3 A Levels.

This course will be part of a wider study programme, which may also include english & maths, work placement and additional studies.
