This course is FREE and will you gain an Award in Art & Design, Level 1 (BTEC).
Graham Watson will be teaching this course, the 13 week course will include up to 8 weeks spent on tutor led workshops, these will be more advanced and challenging than the Introduction course to develop a higher level of skill and technical understanding.
The course will allow for the opportunity to develop printmaking, drawing, collage, digital image manipulation, textile and painting skills. The course will enable you to specialise in any medium or move between and/or combine media of your choice.
You will be given the opportunity towards the end of the course to develop an outcome using a project theme provided. This will involve research, experimentation with media, revisiting techniques they have enjoyed to produce and evaluate a final piece of artwork.
We would expect you to have some experience within Art and Design and be confident producing visual artwork.
Training for apprentices is free for all ages. However, if you hold a full Level 4 qualification (or higher) you will not be eligible for apprenticeship funding. Alternative funding options may be available. Please call 01539 814713 or email email@example.com for information.
