This course is FREE and you will gain an Award in Creative Craft, Entry 3 (QCF).

The Creative Craft course will teach you how to use raw materials, tools and equipment in a safe and competent manner.

You will be encouraged to develop analytical and research skills to enable you to evaluate your own work, develop ideas and learning through the craft process.

Ellie Chanley will be teaching this course, each of the 6 weeks will focus on a different creative process led by a tutor demonstration with artist links. These may include drawing from observation, printmaking, paper art, painting, mixed media.

The course aims to introduce you to different Art & Design techniques, learning new skills to produce visual artwork.

You will learn how to organise and keep a sketchbook to include artist research, reference images and outcomes from practical workshops.

Training for apprentices is free for all ages. However, if you hold a full Level 4 qualification (or higher) you will not be eligible for apprenticeship funding. Alternative funding options may be available. Please call 01539 814713 or email for information.
