Art, Design and Media

Art, Design and Media

Art, Design and Media encompasses a rapidly expanding and ever-changing range of disciplines. Whether you want to become an artist, graphic designer, computer animator, illustrator, fashion designer, sculptor, or photographer; programmes available at Kendal College can provide you with a step on the road to one of these rewarding careers, in addition to developing your creative potential.

At Kendal College, our expertise and facilities in these disciplines will ensure that you have an excellent opportunity to forge a career in one of the exciting creative industries.

Our Art and Design teachers have extensive commercial experience within fine art, 3D design, graphics and digital media, in addition to exhibiting their own work and providing consultancy. You will work in bright and inspiring studios which are well supported by specialist workshops including print, textiles, 3D and a comprehensive range of professional studio software for design, digital imaging, video production and 3D computer modelling and animation; running on Intel Core 2 Duo Apple Macs. Collaboration with music and performing arts students ensures unrivalled exhibitions!
